SING LIDA launches new capacities on cement production

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An Uzbek-Chinese joint venture SING LIDA launched new capacities on production of cement of mark 400 in Andijan region of Uzbekistan, Turkiston-Press news agency reported.
The agency said that the Uzbek-Chinese Sing Lida was created in the result of joint efforts of Uzbek and Chinese businesses. The capacities of the plant are 100,000 tonnes of cement a year. The Chinese investments for US$6 million were attracted to create the enterprise.
The enterprise, which operates at Andijan industrial zone Ahtachi, produced and shipped the first party of its products to consumers in the beginning of June.
According to the founders of the venture, there are plans to construct the second production, which will almost double capacities of the plant.
