Ratification process of Uzbek-Czech aviation treaty completed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tashkent received a diplomatic note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on notification that the Uzbek side completed ratification of an agreement on air communication between the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan.
The embassy said that the agreement will come into force after 60 days. The embassy noted that the agreement will come into force on 2 July 2013.
The agreement exempts airlines of the sides and their aircrafts, spare materials, oils, technical materials spare parts from import limits, customs payments, taxes and duties. The document will also simplify direct transit of passengers.
Currently, Czech Airlines carries out flights between capital cities of the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan twice a week. The flights are conducted on Airbus A-319 airplances.
The flight between Prague and Tashkent are conducted on Tuesdays and Fridays, while vise-versa flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
