Uzbekistan’s tourism potential presented in Czech Republic

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presentation “Great Silk Road: Uzbekistan – heart of Central Asia” was held in Brno, Czech Republic. Embassy of Uzbekistan in Czech Republic with residence in Berlin organized the event, Jahon news agency reported.

The event was held within the 16th international travel videos and photos “GO Kamera 2013”, which was organized by Livingstone cesty za exotikou. The company is actively develops tourism products in direction of Uzbekistan.

The presentation attracted many representatives of tourism sector. They had a chance to familiarize with monuments, history, culture and modern life of Uzbekistan. A film about Uzbekistan, made by Czech tourists, was also demonstrated.

The presentation also briefed the participants about measures, adopted in Uzbekistan, directed to improving tourism infrastructure, preservation of unique monuments, culture and art of Uzbek people.

The report said that tourism companies from Czech Republic expressed interest in expanding and deepening cooperation in tourism sector of Uzbekistan.
