"We will again address this issue after several days," Fathiddin Muhsiddinov, the director-general of the Tojikgaz, who has just returned from Tashkent after the talks, has told Asia-Plus. He refused to make further comments on the results of the talks.
Tajikistan will buy 1 billion cubic meters of natural gas from Uzbekistan in 2008. The Uzbek side insists on raising the price of exported gas to US$185 for 1,000 cubic meters. In 2007 Tajikistan paid US$100 for every 1,000 cubic meters of imported Uzbek gas.$ 1 | 11295.23 | +0.109% |
