Stepan Gurjiy becomes head of Lukoil Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Stepan Gurjiy has been appointed as director-general of Lukoil Uzbekistan, Lukoil Overseas said in a statement.
The company said that prior to appointment Gurjiy headed Karakuduk Munay in Kazakhstan, which is subsidiary of Lukoil Overseas.
At the same time, Andrei Varlamov (processing and logistics) was appointed as deputy director-general of Lukoil Uzbekistan. Oleg Kibizov also started work as deputy director-general of Lukoil Uzbekistan (legal issues).
Lukoil has been working in Uzbekistan since 2011. In 2003, it created office in Tashkent. In 2004, the product sharing agreement on Kandym-Khauzak-Shady project came into force.
