Non-state sector produce 83.3% of Uzbekistan’s industrial output

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Non-state sector is improving its position in economy of Uzbekistan. According to the State Statistics Committee, share of non-state sector in GDP of Uzbekistan in 2010 made up 81.7%.
The sector produced 83.3% of industrial output in Uzbekistan and 99.9% of agriculture production in 2010. About 89.5% of construction works in Uzbekistan executed by non-state sector in the reporting period.
Share of the non-state sector in transportation made up 56%, communication – 95%, retail trade turnover – 99.9%. The sector rendered 78.1% of paid services in Uzbekistan in the reporting period, the committee said.
Non-state sector’s share in foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan reached 79.4% in 2010. The sector provided jobs for 79.1% of population, working in economy.
