Uzbekistan Airways to stop use of Tu-154 aircrafts from 2011

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari national airline (Uzbekistan Aiways) will stop use of Tu-154 aircrafts from 1 January 2011, the company said in a statement.
The company noted that Tu-154 aircrafts does not meet international standards of IOSA on exploitation security.
Airbus A320, Boeing-757 and Rj-85 aircrafts will be used to conduct flights, which earlier carried out with Tu-154 aircrafts. The company said among these flights are Samarkand-Moscow (Domodedova), Ferghana-Samarkand-Kazan, Tashkent-Samara, Tashkent-Ufa, Andijan-Moscow (Domodedova), Nukus-Moscow (Domodedova), Tashkent-Sochi, Urgench-Mineralniyi Vody, Namangan-Novosibirsk, Andijan-Krasnoyarsk.
The company said that currently it is using five A320 aircrafts.
