Uzbekistan, Bangladesh to form joint trade commission

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Bangladesh will form a joint commission on trade in order to expand commerce between two countries.
The Financial Express reported that the commission will review existing obstacles to the expansion of trade between Uzbekistan and Bangladesh. The commission will also develop necessary recommendations on developing trade-economic ties.
The report said that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev proposed to create the commission during the meeting with Bangladesh delegation led by Commerce Minister Faruk Khan.
During the meeting, Elyor Ganiev called Bangladeshi investors to invest in textile and pharmaceutical sectors in Uzbekistan.
