Kaspersky Laboratory holds conference for Central Asian partners

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Kaspersky Laboratory held its first conference for regional partners in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Mongolia. The event was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan and gathered representatives of 78 companies from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
Opening the meeting, managing director for CIS, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa Garry Kondakov briefed participants on strategic development plans of the company.
Garry Kondakov said: “Last year the sales growth in Central Asia and Mongolia region made up 20%. I am sure the sales growth in the region will not decrease. Our competitive strategy – rendering the best terms for work with partners and maximally meet requirements and conditions of local markets – proved its success.”
Managing director of Kaspersky Laboratory in Kazakhstan, Central Asia and Mongolia Fatima Bibeza said: “Main player and consumer is Kazakhstan.” She added that major part of all sales in the region fell to share of Kazakhstan. She noted that the stable growth in other states of the Central Asian states.
Representatives of Kaspersky Laboratory briefed participants on trends and perspective of antivirus market, etc.
