Zaporizhtransformator to deliver four transformers to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The largest Ukrainian transformer producer, Zaporizhtransformator plant, intends to deliver four transformers to joint Uzbek-Russian Uzelektroapparat-Elektroschit Samara enterprise, Uzbekistan, by October 2009, the plant said.
In compliance with the report, the relevant contracts were signed by the parties in the first quarter of 2009. The report did not disclose the cost of the deal. The transformers are designed for the ore mining and oil facilities in Uzbekistan.
In particular, two of four transformers will be delivered for Zarmitanska ore-gold zone deposit.
Zaporizhtransformator, an open joint-stock company, specializes in the manufacture of power, special-purpose and distribution transformers and electrical reactors. The Zaporizhtransformator producer of transformers finished 2008 with a net profit of UAH 527.765 million.
Karatano Ltd, Zadano Ltd and Azidano Ltd own 24.99% in the enterprise each, and Artamare Ltd owns 23.65% (all based in Cyprus).
The company incorporates in the Energy Standard Group of businessman Konstantin Grigorishin.
