A coach from Russia to head Uzbek Paralympic archery team

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, in Uzbekistan, special attention is paid to the development of the Olympic sport like archery. Archers take part in international training camps, experienced specialists work with them. In addition, the archery federation is working on the development of the Paralympic movement.

On 5 February, a meeting with Ildar Sayfulin, a coach from Russia, took place in the archery federation. The general secretary of the federation, Zafar Yusupov, told the guest about how much attention is paid today to development of archery and what tasks are set for the national team today. It was noted that the archers of Uzbekistan plan to successfully perform not only at the Olympic Games, but also the Paralympic Games. To this end, Ildar Saifulin was offered to lead the Uzbek Paralympic archery team.

“I am glad that the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Kashkadarya region and participated in the opening ceremony of the archery base. I am ready to work in Uzbekistan and contribute to the development of Paralympic athletes, ” the coach said.

The specialist was invited to visit the winter championship of Uzbekistan, which will be held in Kokand from February 15 to February 20 and select talented athletes.
