France allocates 500,000 euros for development of a feasibility study of glass plant in Jizzakh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The French government made a decision to allocate 500,000 euros to the Fevs Stein to develop feasibility study (FS) of the project to organize the production of architectural and automotive glass on the territory of Jizzakh region.
Fivs Stein is one of leading companies in the production of equipment and lines for production of glass. It has more than 200 years of experience in the global market. 100 branches and regional offices of the company operate in more than 30 countries of the world. Over the past 20 years, Fevs Stein has built 22 plants in countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Brazil and Russia.
The delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the deputy khokim of Jizzakh region Azim Ahmedhadjayev is in France these days, where the meeting with the leadership of Fivs Stein was held, Dunyo news agency reported.
At the talks, issues of the earliest realization of agreements reached in October 2018 during the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to France to organize the above-mentioned production were discussed.
The total investment in this project is US$100 million, the expected production volume is 600 tons of glass per day. In addition, the launch of the plant will create 200 jobs.
The meeting ended with the signing of an agreement on further cooperation between the khokimiyat of Jizzakh region and Fivs Stein in this direction.
