Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- International master from Uzbekistan Shamsiddin Vohidov sensationally defeated current world champion Magnus Carlsen with black at the second round of the World Rapid Championship, which is taking place in St. Petersburg.

After a mistake on the 22nd move, Carlsen should have been left without a piece, but decided instead to sacrifice the queen.

Shamsiddin Vokhidov carefully used all the benefits of his position, forcing the opponent to surrender on the 36th move.
