Uzbekistan and Ukraine discuss development of trade and economic relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv held a telephone conversation on 5 December 2018.
The sides discussed issues of ensuring mutual access of goods to the markets of Uzbekistan and Ukraine. They also considered the formation of predictable trade relations between the two countries.
Stepan Kubiv noted that Uzbekistan and Ukraine should restore the work of the Joint Ukrainian-Uzbek Commission for Comprehensive Cooperation for the development of economic dialogue. He called for the speedy holding of the next regular eighth meeting of the commission to jointly discuss the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov supported the importance of resuming the work of the commission. The Head of the Government of Uzbekistan assured of the absence of restrictions and the settlement of the problematic aspects of mutual supplies of goods to the markets of Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
