Large-scale events, organized jointly with Moscow, are planned in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Large-scale events organized jointly with Russia are planned in Tashkent in mid-October 2018. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city administration.
The upcoming visit of the President of the Russian Federation to Uzbekistan is already called historic. As planned, a very wide range of issues will be considered, primarily in the field of trade and economic cooperation, investment and industrial cooperation.
Within the visit, another important event will be held - the First Russian-Uzbek Forum of Interregional Cooperation, which will become a platform for establishing and developing direct contacts between the regions of the two countries.
It is planned to discuss issues such as the export potential of the Russian regions, the prospects for new free economic zones in our country, the improvement of legislation in the field of foreign investment and much more.
Also, it is expected to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of Moscow and the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent for 2018-2020 with the aim of developing bilateral cooperation between the capitals, as well as deepening friendship and understanding between the residents of the two cities.
In addition, it is planned to hold Days of Moscow in Uzbekistan, which promise to be rich, bright and interesting. Such events as the performance of the cadet corps, the opening of the exhibition-presentation of the Moscow Zoo, the holding of a friendly tournament in fencing and sambo, the presentation of Russian cuisine and products, and much more will be organized.
Undoubtedly, the second half of October will be hot for the representatives of both countries and the upcoming events will bring relations between our states to an even higher level.
