Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Tashkent khokimiyat and representatives of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Tashkent is paying visit to Moscow to study work experience in the field of development of road and transport infrastructure. This was reported by the press service of the khokimiyat of Tashkent.
It should be recalled that the Department of transport and development of road and transport infrastructure is being created in Tashkent.
Today, the Department for Foreign Economic and International Relations of Moscow hosted a bilateral meeting at which a number of issues on establishing direct ties between the khokimiyat of the Uzbek capital and the Moscow mayor’s office were discussed.
The Moscow government declared its readiness for cooperation in any directions, including in financing. Also, issues of cooperation in the development of urban passenger transport, buses, road and transport infrastructure were discussed.
In addition, within the framework of the visit, the Uzbek delegation studied the work of the Moscow City’s CCDF. Established in 1999, the organization today is one of the best and exemplary among the CIS countries in the implementation of works to improve the transport situation in the capital of Russia.
Also, the delegation of the khokimiyat plans to meet with representatives of the State Bank "MosTransProekt", SCU "Administrator of the Moscow parking space", SCU "Organizer of transportation" and SUE "Mosgortrans".
