UZEX and BUCE sign agreement on strategic cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) and Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE signed an agreement on strategic cooperation.
The agreement between the two exchanges envisages exchange of experience in the use of tools and technologies for exchange trade in order to provide enterprises with material and technical resources and to sell products of producers of Uzbekistan and Belarus, expand geography, commodity nomenclature and the number of participants in exchange trade, increase the volume of transactions made on electronic trading platforms of the parties.
The exchanges intend to organize joint exchange trade in agricultural products, metal products, lumber, textile products and other commodities, explore the possibilities for mutual accreditation of exchange trade participants, and establish effective information interaction between the marketing services of the two exchanges.
The signing of this agreement will facilitate the implementation of comprehensive measures to liberalize exchange trade, increase domestic export potential, facilitate the access of Belarusian producers to the Belarusian market and expand opportunities for Belarusian business in Uzbekistan, and create favorable conditions for a healthy competitive environment and improve the country’s business climate.
