Women of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for the first time hold business forum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 12 September 2018, a delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan headed by the State Secretary, the Chairman of the National Commission for Women and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova arrived in Uzbekistan.

The delegation included deputies of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Union of Women-Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan, the Tourism Industry Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic and business women of the country.

Cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries is based on lasting, centuries-old mutual relations of friendship and good-neighborliness. The visit of the delegation of the National Commission is an important step in the development of this cooperation between women and contributes to the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.

It should be noted that during the state visit of the Kazakh delegation for the first time in the history of the two countries, a business forum and a cooperation exchange were organized. The participants of the Business Forum face an important task - to assess the current status of women in the business environment, to formulate proposals for solving emerging problems in the development of women’s entrepreneurship.

The business forum will help women from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to get to know each other better, learn innovative innovations in entrepreneurship and share their business experience and will enable women of the two countries to share their innovative business ideas and business skills. For this, the most comfortable conditions will be created. The purpose of the Cooperative Exchange, held in the afternoon, is to enable the signing of joint contracts.

In order to support and assist each other in the area of women’s empowerment, the head of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva and the State Secretary, Chairperson of the National Commission for Women and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova signed a memorandum of cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation of Kazakhstan will visit the sights of the capital and Samarkand.
