Children from Uzbekistan win international competition in robotics

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international conference on robotics was held in Beijing, China on 15-17 August. Within the framework of the event, a contest of robotics projects among pupils of pre-school educational institutions and general schools was organized.
About 350 children from 20 countries took part in the competition. Young Uzbek people Sitora Islamova (born in 2006) and Artem Dolganovsky (born in 2012) won the gold medal and the Golden Prix cup in the "Creativity" nomination in the "City" category. This was reported by the press service of the hokimiyat of Tashkent.
Sitora Islamova and Artem Dolganovsky, who just returned from China, have already begun preparing for the upcoming international competition on neurotechnology and robotics in Thailand, which will be held on 30 November to 1 December. The Khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent is working to create all conditions for the preparation of the team.
For information, the khokimiyat of Tashkent city organized courses of robotics for pupils of kindergartens and teachers in Turin Polytechnic University.
