Korean company to invest US$50 million in a project in Tashkent City

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Office of the Tashkent City project and the specialized construction company Bomi Engineering & Construction Co Ltd from South Korea signed an investment contract on 15 August.
Bomi Engineering & Construction Co Ltd became the new investor of Tashkent City and will build an office building. The Korean company will direct US$50 million to the project.
The company intends to complete the construction of a multi-storey office building in 2021.
Negotiations on mutually beneficial cooperation began in December 2017 after the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to South Korea.
The project envisages construction of modern building, in which all rooms will be equipped with "smart" technologies and will correspond to class "A".
