IUT hosts the First Graduation Ceremony

The First Graduation Ceremony of Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) was held on 14 August 2018 with participation of the guests from the Republic of Korea and officials of the Government of Uzbekistan.
Inha University in Tashkent, established in 2014 on the initiative of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, is now one of the leading universities in Uzbekistan, which trains specialists in the field of information technologies.
A representative delegation of Inha University in the Republic of Korea, led by Vice President of Cheong InKyo University, arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the graduation ceremony.
About 87 undergraduate students of the School of Computer and Information Engineering (SOCIE) became the first graduates of Inha University in Tashkent.
Vice President of Inha University in the Republic of Korea Cheong InKyo and rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov handed over joint diplomas of two universities to all graduates.
Special certificates and gifts were awarded to students, who have excelled during their studies at Inha University in Tashkent.
Bunyod Ibrokhimov and Yulduz Hodjaeva were awarded for high GPAs during their studies at the university. Aziz Siyayev received recognition for his active participation in the social life of the university. Muhammadali Hayotov was awarded for promoting the image of the university through victories in various competitions in the IT-field.
During his speech, Vice President of Inha University in the Republic of Korea, Cheong InKyo said: “I hope that you will put forth all your effort to build a new future for Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan is rare among CIS countries in transitioning to a market economy without shock. Though it is a given that you will utilize well the knowledge gained through your education at IUT, please make an effort to expand your knowledge and concentrate your interest to increase the ability to creatively view the world.”
Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov congratulated the graduates and noted: "The fact that many of you have found jobs and some have been accepted to foreign universities, shows how talented you are. This also shows the high level of quality of our university’s academic programs. I would like to thank our faculty members, as well as the University staff, for their dedication to the students, the government for the opportunity to create an excellent environment for students.” He added that the university administration will work to improve the work of the university and the opening of new areas of study.
