Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan agree to increase the number of flights

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The aviation authorities of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan agreed to increase the number of flights to 32 per week.
The agreements were reached during the negotiations of the aviation authorities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in Astana.
Deputy Head of the State Inspectorate of Uzbekistan for Flight Safety Oversight Oleg Lim held a meeting with the Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan, Talgat Lustayev.
The parties agreed to increase the number of flights on the existing routes. In particular, the airlines of the two countries will increase the number of flights in the direction Astana-Tashkent from 4 to 6 flights a week and in the direction Almaty-Tashkent from 7 to 10 flights a week for each of the parties.
As a result, the total number of flights between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will reach 32 per week.
Also the appointed airlines agreed to sign a commercial agreement "code-sharing" on mutually beneficial terms.
