Uzbekistan starts to address issue of abolition of “mobile slavery”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan has begun to address the issue of abolishing the so-called "mobile slavery". This was stated by the Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications Azim Ahmedkhadjayev at the conference # MITCROADMAP2018 in Tashkent.
According to him, until the end of 2018 it is planned to approve the procedure for saving the telephone number of the subscriber of the mobile network during the change of the operator.
He said that there are almost 23 million cellular subscribers in Uzbekistan and the number of Internet users exceeds 20 million.
