Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Hanjin Group is seeking a joint development on Navoi Airport in Uzbekistan. The group signed a management deal at a meeting at Uzbekistan’s government complex attended by Hanjin Group chairman Cho Yang-ho, Korea Air president Lee Jong-hee, and Uzbek Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Azimov on Tuesday.
The deal includes details of Navoi Airport’s joint development project signed in August by the Korean group and Uzbekistan’s government.
Chairman Cho said, “Joint airport development will be sought by establishing airport infrastructure and air cargo networks and attracting global logistics firms from next year to 2013.”
