IUT and KOICA discuss development of bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) led by the head of the representative office of the organization in Uzbekistan Song Il Son visited Inha University in Tashkent.
Rector of Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) Sarvar Babakhodjaev and the First Vice-Rector of the University Professor Woosug Cho received the delegation of KOICA.
During the meeting, the representatives of IUT and KOICA discussed development of cooperation to improve the education system and create new opportunities for young people of Uzbekistan.
In particular, the parties considered attracting volunteers from South Korea to teach some subjects in the IUT.
It should be noted that the administration of IUT with the assistance of KOICA attracted a South Korean volunteer, who teaches Korean language to the university’s students.
During the meeting, the sides agreed to intensify cooperation and work out issues related to the implementation of joint projects.
