Chairman of State Tourism Committee meets the first "visa-free" tourists

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the State Committee of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development Aziz Abdukhakimov met the first tourists, who arrived in Uzbekistan after the start of the free 30-day entry for citizens of seven countries at the international airport in Tashkent.

Head of State Tourism Committee met the passengers of Korean Air on 11 February. Aziz Abdukhakimov in Japanese welcomed tourists from South Korea and Japan.

The Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism presented souvenirs and national clothes to tourists as gifts.

On 10 February 2018, Uzbekistan introduced a visa-free regime for 30 days from the date of entry into the country for citizens of Israel, Indonesia, the Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Turkey and Japan.
