Uzbek educational institutes receive information on Microsoft solutions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan ( -- A seminar “Microsoft in Education” was held at Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) on 30 January 2018.

The seminar was organized by Microsoft Corporation, the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the Ministry of Public Education, Inha University in Tashkent, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khorazmiy and UZINFOCOM.

The event was attended by representatives of ministries and departments, as well as higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan.

During the event, Education lead of Microsoft CIS Nurlan Zhanybek spoke about projects of the US corporation on introduction of information technologies in the education system, which allows to improve the quality of education.

Education Lead of the Microsoft MCE Teodora Varbanova briefed the participants on development of IT education in the world and in Uzbekistan. In particular, she spoke about various initiatives and projects of Microsoft in the field of IT education, including attracting girls to IT sector.

Participants of the event received information on application of innovative solutions in organization of the educational process and research in schools and universities. It was underlined that with the help of Microsoft products, educational institutions can cooperate and jointly improve the curriculum.

It was noted that also, the US Corporation offers solutions for organizing education for people with disabilities and teaching children a foreign language and other subjects.
