Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to abolish a ban for hiring citizens without temporary or permanent resident registration.
On 22 January 2018, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved a state programme for realization of the Strategy of Action on priority directions of development of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021 in the Year of supporting active entrepreneurship, innovative ideas and technologies.
The programme envisages abolishment of the ban on hiring citizens to work without temporary and permanent resident registration.
It is also planned to abolish responsibility of employer for hiring citizens, living without temporary or permanent resident registration or without registering in place of stay.
The document said that citizens of Uzbekistan without permanent resident registration in Tashkent and Tashkent region will receive right to purchase real estate in the secondary market. The programme also stipulates to extend of stay of the citizen in any region of the country without temporary resident registration.
