Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan signed a number of documents after the talks between President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sooronbai Jeenbekov in Tashkent.
Presidents Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Sooronbai Jeenbekov signed a Joint Statement.
Representatives of the two countries also signed a Program between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic on economic, scientific, technical and humanitarian cooperation for 2018-2021.
An agreement was signed between the customs authorities on organization of a simplified procedure for implementation of customs operations for movement of goods and vehicles (Simplified Customs Corridor).
The Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic inked an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation.
An action plan for cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of prevention and liquidation of emergency situations for 2018 was signed.
The Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and the Federation of Trade Unions of the Kyrgyz Republic concluded an agreement on cooperation.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Central Council of the Uzbekistan Youth Union and the State Agency for Youth, Physical Culture and Sports under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
