Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Administration of Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent city started to introduce the system “Electronic resident’s card” – Obod Uy, the khokim (governor) of the district Sherzod Kudbiev said on the khokimiyat’s Facebook page.
Sherzod Kudbiev said that the first resident’s cards were send to citizens, living in the residential area of Karasu. Residents of Chimyon mahalla received the letter from district administration with their personal cards, the governor said. They also received flyers with information on new system and its capabilities.
Governor said that the personal cards, including login and password, help the residents to enter personal cabinet of Obod uy system at www.oboduy.uz. The card is registered for apartment and valid only registered flat.
The system allows residents to get information on apartment, homeowners association, payments for operating costs and current balance.
“The capabilities of the system will be constantly expanded. In the near future we plan to introduce online payment functionality from the personal cabinet,” Sherzod Kudbiev said.
Kokim underlined that the system will ensure transparency of relations between residents and homeowners association, control of collected funds and openness.
During the week, the system will be available to residents of the entire 2nd sector, and by the end of the year it is planned to cover the entire district, Kubdiev stated.
