Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Russian company Krastsvetmet and Uzkimyosanoat have established a joint venture (JV) in Uzbekistan.
According to the publication of NGS.News, the joint venture will serve the chemical industry companies, helping in collection of various secondary materials containing precious metals.
General Director Mikhail Diaghilev said that Krastsvetmet has been operating in Uzbekistan since 2013 and won two major tenders for the supply of catalytic systems. This year, the plant won another big tender for the supply of catalytic systems to Uzbekistan
"Almost five years ago, we already managed to win a major international tender for the supply of a specific product, which we produce, - catalytic systems for the oxidation of ammonia and the production of nitric acid. During these years we have been a reliable supplier for Uzbekistan, for large enterprises incorporated in the state corporation. In the course of operation, specific cleaning of equipment from materials containing precious metals is required, we rendered this service to them,” Diaghilev explained.
Krastsvetmet plans to eventually supply to Uzbekistan other kinds of catalysts, including those that the Russian plant does not produce.
