Uzbek Health Ministry establishes cooperation with South Korean partners

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A leadership of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with the leaders of leading clinics in Korea.
In particular, the meetings were held with representatives of Gachon University Gil Medical Center in Incheon, Myongji Hospital in Seoul, the Medical Leaders Corporation, Chonnam National University Hospital in Gwangju and Chung Hospital.
The sides discussed a wide range of issues, in particular, telemedicine, the exchange of experience, the holding of master classes by the Korean specialists in Uzbekistan, upgrading of the skills of Uzbek doctors and the training of students in Korea and issues related to construction of high-tech and modern clinics in Uzbekistan.
Following the talks, the parties agreed on signing relevant agreements and Memoranda of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and clinics in Korea.
Agreements were reached and memorandums of understanding were signed with such leading Korean medical institutions as Chung Hospital for construction of a medical clinic in Uzbekistan, Corporation of Medical Leaders for exchange of bilateral experience, conduct of master classes by Korean experts in Uzbekistan, improving skills of Uzbek doctors in Korea.
Uzbek Ministry and Gachon University Gil Medical Center in Incheon will exchange experience and develop telemedicine.
Another two agreements are expected to be signed with Myongji Hospital in Seoul and Chonnam National University Hospital in Gwangju.
Negotiations were also held with the Minister of Health and Social Affairs of Korea. The sides discussed priority areas for development of bilateral relations.
