Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov held a meeting with the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India Mubashir Javed Akbar.
The delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Abdulaziz Kamilov is in Delhi on an official visit.
The sides discussed the state and prospects of the Uzbek-Indian dialogue, current international and regional problems, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The sides noted the positive dynamics of interstate relations, a new tempo and tonality, which was set by the bilateral meeting within the session of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in June.
It was noted that Uzbekistan and India prioritize strengthening of mutually beneficial relations in trade, economic and investment spheres.
The parties noted that on 22 August a business forum will be held with participation of representatives of leading companies and companies of Uzbekistan and India. The business forum presents a real opportunity for entering into joint projects in various fields of the economy.
The sides also exchanged views on development of cooperation within the UN, the SCO and other international organizations.
