International business center “Tashkent city” to be created in Uzbek capital

Tashkent, Uzbekistan ( -- Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures to improve architectural appearance and improvement of the central part of the city of Tashkent, as well as creation of appropriate conditions for the population and visitors to the capital” on 28 July 2017.

The resolution said that an international business center “Tashkent city” will be created in the center of Tashkent.

The business center will be established on the territory, bordering with the streets of Alisher Navoi, Olmazor, Islam Karimov and Furkat.

The objects, which will be constructed in the territory of Tashkent city, will be constructed due to resources of investors, foreign investments, grants, technical assistance, donations, loans and other sources.

As earlier reported, the total area of the center will be 70 hectares. The project cost exceeds US$1 billion. Within the framework of the project, an industrial park, eight business centers, a shopping mall, restaurants and a cultural center, as well as residential apartments will be built.
