Public Foundation for Support of Creative Persons “Ilkhom” created in Uzbekistan
The Fund will accumulate and direct funds for development of culture, art and journalism in Uzbekistan, implementation of relevant programs and projects.
The Foundation will finance the costs associated with the content and activities of the Union of Composers, the Creative Association of Artists, the Union of Theatrical Figures and the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, providing targeted material assistance to the veterans of the sphere who have made a worthy contribution to its development.
The organization will be financed at the expense of budgetary funds (grants) allocated to the Fund to finance the costs of remuneration for employees of the territorial branches of the Union of Composers, the Creative Association of Artists, the Union of Theatrical Figures and the Creative Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan.
Financing of the Fund will also be carried out at the expense of income received from the rental of the houses of creativity transferred to the Fund, placement of temporarily idle funds of the Fund, charitable funds of legal entities and individuals, as well as other sources.
The resolution noted that the Mahalla Fund will transfer resources to the Fund for 7 billion soums. The Ministry of Finance, the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan will send funds to the Fund worth 13 billion soums at the expense of seized proceeds received illegally.
Uzbek leader released the Foundation and the institutions funded by it from all taxes, as well as mandatory contributions to state trust funds till 1 January 2022.
The funds released in connection with the provision of these benefits are directed only to fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the Fund.
