State budget’s surplus in Uzbekistan reach 108.2bn soums in 1H

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The surplus of the state budget of Uzbekistan in the first half of 2017 reached 108.2 billion soums, the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan said.

According to the preliminary data of the Ministry, the budget revenues in January-June 2017 exceeded 22.46 trillion soums, and expenses - 22.35 trillion soums.

About 11.86 trillion soums of income fell to the share of indirect taxes, 5.53 trillion soums - direct taxes and 2.81 trillion soums - resource payments and property tax.

Expenses for the social sphere and social support of the population exceeded 12.414 trillion soums. Expenses on the economy made up 2.23 trillions soums and to finance centralized investments - 1.305 trillion soums.

Expenses for maintenance of public authorities, management and courts, as well as self-government bodies reached 1.075 trillion soums, and other expenses - 5.31 trillion soums.
