Presidents of Uzbekistan and India exchange messages

Tashkent, Uzbekistan ( -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of India Pranab Mukherjee exchanged congratulatory messages in connection with the 25th anniversary of establishing of diplomatic relations between two states.

Pranab Mukherjee congratulated President, Government and people of Uzbekistan with the the 25th anniversary of establishing of diplomatic relations between two states.

President of India noted that India and Uzbekistan are linked by the centuries-old ties of friendship and continuous interaction.

Indian President expressed his satisfaction with expansion of cooperation between two nations both in bilateral and multilateral levels to keep peace, progress and development of Uzbek and Indian people. He said that Uzbekistan and India became closer in last 25 years and strategic partnership strengthened in all areas of mutual interest.

Uzbek President underlined that Uzbekistan and India have close policies and positions on actual problems in the world. He underlined that further deepening partnership within the UN and other international structures, continuation of mutual support meet interests of Uzbekistan and India.

Mirziyoyev stated that the Uzbek side is ready to further expand relations with India in all directions, including in trade-economic, investment, scientific-technical, cultural-humanitarian spheres, using existing great potential.

President of Uzbekistan expressed his assurance that the countries with joint effort can lift equal and long-term cooperation to new level in interest of the people of Uzbekistan and India.
