Uzbektelecom cuts tariffs for internet services for ISPs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbektelecom joint stock company cut tariffs for internet services (external channel) for internet service providers up to US$91.5 per 1 Mbps from 21 December 2016, the press service of the company said.
National Uzbek telecom operator recalled that it is cutting tariffs for external channel for the twelfth time in 2016. It cut prices for ISPs up to US$156.24 on 13 January, US$141.94 on 1 February, US$136.34 on 17 February, US$133.62 on 1 March, US$115.26 on 2 March and US$112.91 per 1 Mbps on 27 April, US$111.21 on 25 July, US$108.31 on 19 August and US$107.03 on 22 August, US$105.77 on 19 September, US$103.03 on 28 October and US$91.5 per 1 Mbps on 21 December 2016.
The company decreased external channel tariff for ISPs 17 times in 2015 – from US$259.29 in January to US$157.60 per 1 Mbps in December 2015.
