Signs on inadmissibility of consumption of alcohol and tobacco products to be installed at public places

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Signs on inadmissibility of consumption of alcohol and tobacco products will be installed at public places in Uzbekistan.
Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan approved a regulation on order of preparing and placement of signs, warning on inadmissibility of consumption of alcohol and tobacco products, and signs, informing on special places and rooms for consumption of tobacco products.
The decree of the ministry issued on 7 November 2016. The document will enter into force in March 2017. The regulation approved signs with and without text.
The regulation said that heads of enterprises and organizations, employers, legal entities and individuals, using buildings and objects, should install signs on inadmissibility of consumption of alcohol and tobacco products, as well signs on special places and rooms for consumption of tobacco products.
The document said that the signs with the text on inadmissibility of consumption of alcohol products will be place in workplaces, streets, stadiums, squares, parks and other public places, including trade objects and catering, where it is prohibited to sell alcohol products.
The signs without text on inadmissibility of consumption of alcohol products will be placed in all public transports (except civil airplanes).
The signs with the text on inadmissibility of consumption of tobacco products will be placed in working places, healthcare, education, sport-rehabilitation buildings, inflammable places and other public places.
The signs without the text will be placed in trains, river ships, buses, taxis and electric transport.
The regulation also approved signs for specially allocated places and premises for smoking.
