Uzbekistan prime minister in a meeting with Iranian businessmen attending International Exhibition of Cotton in Tashkent, called relations between the two countries important, IRNA reported.
In the meeting on Wednesday, the Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Foreign Economic Relations Minister Elyor Ganiyev as well as Iran’s Ambassador to Tashkent Mohammad Keshavarz-zadeh and a number of Uzbekistan officials were present too.
The PM called for acceleration of solving problems and obstacles in bilateral ties.
The Iranian envoy, for his part, explained some of Iranian businessmen problems and difficulties and requested the prime minister to help solve the problems.
Some of the businessmen also talked about their economic and trade activities in Uzbekistan.
