Hoon Chang: I see spark in eyes of children, adults

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Professor of Inha University in the Republic of Korea Hoon Chang delivered lectures on mathematics within the First Touch Math Festival in Tashkent.
The First Touch Math Festival is taking place at the Inha University in Tashkent and will last till 8 January 2016.
The students of schools, lyceums and colleges, their parents and teachers on math participated in the lectures of the Korean Professor.
On 7 January, Hoon Change conducted two lectures. The first lecture was dedicated to math in real world. During his presentation, Mr Chang showed that all people face mathematics in their daily life.
For example, women frequently use sewing machine. Korean Professor showed that various mathematic elements were used in the machine. The various geometric figures can be also found in forms of the fruits and vegetables.
The second lecture of Professor Hoon Chang was devoted to hypercube. During the lecture, he briefed the participants on characteristics of the 3D cube.
Hoon Chang said that children in South Korea study hard and they are tired. “Here I see spark in the eyes of children and adults. They were interested in presented topics. Despite time limit, I would like not to sop and continue the lecture,” he said.
People, who were not able to visit lecture of Professor Hoon Chang, can visit his lecture on 8 January. The first lecture will start at 10:30 and the second – at 15:00.
