Uzbekistan mines 2.99m tonnes of coal in Jan-Sep

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan mined 2.999 million tonnes of coal in January-September 2014, which decreased by 3.4% less compared to the same period of 2013, the press service of Uzbekugol said.
According to the company, Uzbekugol mined about 2.727 million tonnes of coal (-8.4%), Shargunkumir – 70,200 tonnes (+438.6%) and Apartak – 203,000 tonnes (+76.2%).
The volume of produced goods in current prices made up 191.5 billion soums (+14.1%) and comparable prices – 140.4 billion soums.
In nine months of 2014, about 3.32 million tonnes of coal were delivered to consumers (-17.2%). Uzbekugol delivered 3.027 million tonnes of coal (-21.3%), Shargunkumir – 75,100 tonnes (+537.1%) and Apartak – 218,500 tonnes (+44.9%).
