Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan to hold session of intergovernmental commission

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The tenth session of the joint Uzbek-Turkmen commission on trade-economic, scienticific-technical and cultural cooperation will be held in Tashkent on 31 July 2014.
Vice Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Palvan Taganov briefed the government on preparations to upcoming session of the commission.
He said that the agenda of the commission includes issues of further expanding of partnership in trade, transport, energy, agriculture and water sectors, science, education, culture, sport, tourism, and other sectors.
It is also planned to hold negotiations between the heads of ministries and members of the Turkmen delegation with several enterprises.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that the session should be held at high level and efficiently. He said that the dialogue between two nations should be deepened, while production and trade relations expanded.
