Use of primary party organizations in election process discussed in Bukhara

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Bukhara regional council of Liberal-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and Bukhara regional branch of Independent institute on monitoring on forming civil society organized a seminar-training “Issues of effective use of potential of the primary political organizations in period of preparation and participation in elections to Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and representative bodies of the government in places in 2014”.
The event considered issues of raising political level and legal culture of employees of employees of the regional, district and city Councils of UzLideP, primary party organizations and MPs of Councils of People’s Deputies in places during preparation and participation in upcoming elections in 2014.
Farhod Aminov, chairperson of the regional Council of UzLiDeP, said that the results of the elections largely depends on activities of the primary party organizations in election areas and places, coordination of election process within their authorities.
It is worth to mention that there is growing demand in effective use of modern methods, common political technologies of promotion of the party’s programme goal, work with population and voters. It was said that it is important that primary organization have regular contacts with the voters.
At the meeting, the participants underlined that institutes of observers and authorized representative of the political party. Over 50,000 participants are improving their skills. It was said that it is important to select right people to observers and authorized representatives of the party.
Hamid Beshimov, deputy chairperson of Bukhara regional Council of UzLiDep, said that currently over 448 primary party organizations work in the region and they unite about 10,000 members. He said that the main goal to have one primary party organization in each election area and create conditions for organization of pre-election agitation.
The participants developed methodical and practical recommendations on improving political level and legal culture of the activists of the primary party organizations.
